What would you do if you THINK that the girl you really like actually has a crush on another boy? Would you keep waiting for her to change her mind? Or would you instead trying to forget her, regardless of how painful it is?

Don't wait for her to change her mind, if you want her interest you have to earn it You could get to know her, flirt, and be romantic. Pay attention to what she says and show that you listened to her by asking her questions, repeating what she says in your own words, and surprising her with considerate actions. If she has a favorite activity, make plans to treat her to it. Say it's riding horses. You could invite her to ride with you. Or ask her to teach you how. Just tailor your actions to what she says. Show her respect by treating her special. If your efforts are not appreciated or your feelings returned, move on to someone who'll appreciate you and be just as interested in you as you are in her. That's what I would do if I were a guy. I am a female and interested in men, so I do some things slightly different since men and women find different things attractive.

You say you THINK she likes another, have you tried asking her out ?, or for her phone number so you can call her sometime, her response will let you know how she feels about you. If she's not responsive the way you like, carry-on. In time things can change. Just keep being a nice guy in her presence and someday she may fall into your arms.

Maybe if you moved on with someone else she would realize that you aren't going to wait around forever and would realize what she is missing out on. If it doesn't go this way then you have kept your options open to the possibility of loving someone else.

if you think you like her, ask her out on a date. i mean she's not totally committed to this other guy is she? or they're not going steady are they? she's a free woman ... the worst she can do is tell you no. but good luck anyway!
