I was told the first three numbers identifies the location where you initially received the card, the two middle numbers identifies your race, but I don't know about the last four numbers. Is any of this information true?

I am actually looking for three songs. One I know is by Martina Mcbride. It is about a little boy with braces on his legs and something to do with a pile of leaves. The other is a country song about America and how the singer says he is proud to be an American. I can hear them both in my head and it is driving me nuts thanks. I am also looking for a song by Matchbox 20 I think it is about sucide I think. Something about coming away from the edge.I am so much trouble aren't I? sorry thanks to all that answer.

We just got back from a long trip (7 hours) and had no problems at all the whole time. A few minutes after turning the car off, I went to start it again and nothing happened. It wouldn't turn over and lights/radio weren't working. Turning the key produced faint flickering of the lights for a split second but that was it. We got a jump and it started up fine. It seemed to have no problems driving, except when I hit the break all lights and the headlights dimmed for a brief moment. They would then go back to normal, even if the break was still applied. We stopped at a few stoplights and there were no issues with keeping the car going, but once we stopped for good and turned it off, it wouldn't turn over/start again. Is this an alternator issue or something simpler like a lose connection/wire somewhere?

my friend met a guy online and has been talking to him for 6mo. a few weeks ago she went to another state to met him. (i didnt know at the time). she says she is in love and goes on about how she knows "its right"...now as a friend i gave her my advise and told her i thought she was crazy and that there is no way she could love this guy just from talking on the internet and meeting him one time, love doesnt work like that. i have been with a guy for 5yrs and love him but it didnt happen overnight, or over the internet. i just dont think she knows what love is. am i wrong? could she really love him? am i just too optimistic?

Asked this with the daytime crowd and didn't get too many answers, so trying again with the night-owls...

I've spent 30 years as a Protestant. And after hearing all the laws and rules, and about tithing, and the "evil" of being gay or Jewish or Atheist or whatever for 3 long decades...

I've really just had enough. Don't want to be a Christian anymore. Some of you are cheering, some are shaking their heads. But does anyone have any thoughts to share?

I've kind of been a...hmmm what's the word... "secret pagan" for a while anyway. Wicca seems like the way to go, or perhaps an eclectic pagan path.

Open to your thoughts!

My friend just emailed me, see below. I wondered if my friends on Yahoo answers could help!

"Enjoying my ipod for the gym, beach & travel but the bloody little earphones are annoying me & when running in the gym don’t stay in.

Heard anything on this from others or experienced this yourself? Wondered if there was a set of headphone recommended for this?

i'm gonna attempt to settle the debate between the sport with tougher guys

you could make an argument for rugby because they have no pads. however, the hits they make are more of "everyone pile on the guy with the ball" than football. this is the only case i can think of for rugby

in football, the emphasis is knock the crap out of the guy with the ball, and then everyone dog piles you. every single play, at least 8 guys on the team will try to completley knock the crap out of the other team. in rugby, one guy gets people to jump on him. in football, a 254 pound brian ulacher rocks a 200 pound tomlinson, and then smashes him to the ground. in rugby, a guy gets dogpiled.

if guys didn't wear pads in foot ball, they'd die. if guys didn't wear cups in rugby, they'd be fine (that was just a joke.)

what aer your reasons for which sport involves tougher guys? why?

Hi. So ive had the same pair of VANS shoes for a year now. I love the shoes and are comfortable but there are running on their lasts threads. I need to purchase a new pair of shoes, shoes that i can wear everyday to and from college. I'm tired of vans. Ive purchased other shoes but not for school. My other shoes are nicer loafers and such but i need a cool pair of shoes. I was thinking of some Nike's that dont look all gangster/baller-ish. Kinda change it up a bit...but which ones? I'm looking on eBay as my primary source. Can anyone recommend a good pair of shoes i might like?

If personality is a factor here then this is who i am: I prefer the indie rock music yet i dress modern with fitted polos and jeans such as from American Apparel.

HELP! I want new shoes!

Ok, well there's this guy who I've known for a little bit more then 2 years now and we've gotten to know each other better throughout the years. I can make him laugh and vice-versa. I had a friend who knew him longer than me and she said that he talks differently to me than to her. She said that he looks comfortable talking to me and he's always nice nice to me. He's really funny, smart, sweet, talented, and just absolutely amazing. He has what I look for in a guy and so much more. It's just that now it's different because we only have one class together and we hardly talk AT ALL. I really miss him and I think he looks at me when I pass by. I just don't know what to do now. I asked him a question today and for a while he was ignoring me. Do you think he does? What should I do?

I'm single and I've got plenty of married friends. Recently, I've learned that my close friend and her hubby had not had sex for 3 years, since they married. It seems that her husband were so into work and felt that sex after marriage is different (more responsibility), he thinks marriage is hard work and is regretting marriage now. She broke down infront of me few times, but I can only provide listening ear as I'm not certain of how to advise her. THEN, I've also found out another 2 friend's whom is in similar position. What is happening ? I'm so disillusioned. Is this common ? Guys, what could be the actual reason ?

Here is an example:

Girl #1: SHe is a virgin and plans to wait until she marries.SHe doesnt drink, doesn't smoke and doesnt do drug. She is more family oriented and helpful towards others.SHe is smart, well educated.Got career goals, she is loyal, faithful and is an honest woman.SHe is physically beautiful and very caring. She is understanding and is willing to compromise to make a man happy and not always get things always her way.

Girl #2: Seems to give herself quite easily and has been around with many men. She rarely works for what she needs she always has some guy do her homework or whatever she needs done.Financialy relies on a man ALWAYS.She tends to gossip, flirt with alot of men. Tends to be unfaithful. manipulative, will twist the truth to get things done her way.

Why is men tend to prefer Girl#2 ??? Why do they flock to those type of women? Why do men tend to hate Girl #1?

Why is it girl#2 tend to get more ahea

they point out things that are hypocritical? I don't hate America, I just think that people are making a huge deal over Mexicans comming over. This country was built on immigration. I don't think anyone should forget what happened to the indians ( I mean, how many are left? What happened?) I don't care how great you think America is. It isn't the best country in many ways. And for those of you who are telling me to leave, bite me. I'm not going ANYWHERE! My grandfather fought for this country, and I have a right to be here just like everyone else, and I am entitled to my opinions! I am staying just to annoy you! HA HA!
