My friend just emailed me, see below. I wondered if my friends on Yahoo answers could help!

"Enjoying my ipod for the gym, beach & travel but the bloody little earphones are annoying me & when running in the gym don’t stay in.

Heard anything on this from others or experienced this yourself? Wondered if there was a set of headphone recommended for this?

R"

have never had a problem running wth my ipod ear phones but you can look on www.everythingipod.com and they should have other earphones options for you.

Yeah, I've had problems with the iPod earphones too. Not only do they fall out often, but they hurt my ears! Like others here have mentioned, I as well bought a pair of the earphones that wrap around the back of your ear. I think mine are Sony brand, and I bought them at Best Buy for somewhere around $10.

I had the same problem so I went out and bought ones that still have small headphone piece but then there's a little rubber part that wraps around the back of my ear so that they stay on. They work really well too, I got them from Kmart, but I don't remember what their name was.

If you wanna kill 2 birds with one stone I strongly recommend
the 'in ear' type phones as these stay in your ear better and sound 100% better than the bud type - much better base etc and will make your iPOD sound far better.

I use the Sony MDR-EX71SLB Fontopia Headphones but there
are plenty of other makes out there. I got my Sony ones from Amazon.
