I've always thought I was a liberal with only a few conservative views. Lately, I've been annoyed by some of my other liberal friend remarks.

What are some key issues that would define me as liberal or conservative. Or if there is a website you can link that I can do like a "ideology test" or something? Think hard because a lot of people are gonna mention the same issues. THANKS!

We have been best friends for two years... Recently, we realized that we had feelings for each other. The problem is that he does not like my past; I've done many things I've regret. I have slept around and have hooked up with guys that he's never been fond of.
I really want to change for us, but he is still apprehensive. How do I clearly tell/show him that I have changed? How do I make him stop bringing up my past?

In the bible, there is this little paragraph, when Jesus is being killed, a woman turns to this one guy, and says 'did'nt you hang out with him?' And he denyed it and basically turned his back on Jesus. Can anyone tell me where to find that? I know I am being pretty vague, and inarticulate, but I can't remember it very well. I would search for it, but the bible is a very long book. lol =) (oh my, I sound like a stupid teenager)

When I went in the Army, when I went into a civil service position, when I was made an officer of the Superior Court, when I was elected to a local office, I had to take the same oath that is given to the President. The oath was "To preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America from all enemies foreign and domestic." This being a government of laws rather than individuals, the Constitution comes first. Is the oath still the same? I've heard disturbing rumors that it has been altered.

My ex husband had our 5 yr old daughter take two bubble baths with a 4 yr old boy this weekend. She said niether one of them wore anything and she saw his "peanut". I've recently moved to this area, and I like this guy I've know for 3 mos, and I'm pretty sure he likes me, too, but I have unknowingly maneuvered myself into a position I hate. How do I give him the message that he will need to be decisive and to respect me? We are not involved physically, but emotionally, somewhat, and I was too distracted with getting set up in a new area and making friends and didn't want a rel until I got settled. I needed a cellist to play music with (him) but the fact is that I am in an uncomfortable situation. We have a very serious musical relationship, but he has a girlfriend he has never told me about. I recently found out because I finally had the time and focus to go to the trouble. Problem is, we have become good friends and are dealing with all of the rudimenary problems of a beginning relationship as a metaphor to the musical relationship. I want to keep play music, and I'd love to go out with him, but it makes me upset to feel all these unspoken things

personally i am very anti-myspace. i fell it corrupts our youth (not to mention all of the online predators).

i would like to know YOUR feelings on the subject. do you have a myspace? if so how often do you check for comments? / change the appearance of your myspace? / look at the myspaces of your friends?
