I found out about 4 days ago an i took a 1 day yeast infection med. and then i have been putting cream around my area down there. and well my boyfriend asked when we could have sex again and i told him i dont know so i decided to ask someone on here.

As long as it is not uncomfortable there's no waiting period necessary on yeast infections. Although, be aware that if you have recurring yeast infections it is possible to pass the yeast back and forth between the two of you. His symptoms are typically non-existent, so you won't know unless you get another infection. Acidophilus capsules in the vagina at night can help prevent yeast infection.

about a week or two. because when you take one day medication (vaginal tablet) the tablet will still be there for several days.
atleast wait until the medication works.
