The smaller the dog, the harder to housebreak.

Trust me on this, KENNEL TRAIN. See my last post, paper training is the worst thing you can do.

Read up on kennel training, it's easiest. But you have to stick to the rules 100 percent of the time.

Puggles do have a tendancy to be headstrong when it comes to certain activties and house training is no exception. It is vital that you stay consistent with your Puggle and bring it out often. If when you bring your Puggle out to the bathroom and it goes be sure to make a big deal out of it. Lots of excitement, petting and finally a followup treat can really help inforce the point. If your Puggle does make a mess in the house be loud and show them what they did but DO NOT hit them. A flick of the nose gets the point across just the same or a spray bottle.

* Be patient and consistent.
* Reward good behavior

There is no real magic trick so be patient and train your Puggle early and it will save you a lot of greif in the future.

I don't have a puggle but i do have a pug (10 weeks old) and i do have trouble house training her, but i suppose she is too young to hold it in at this stage. If you are home a lot then it will work quicker for you, get up early take you pup outside, then after every meal and before bed. If you see her/him sniffing around like they are looking for somewhere to go then take him/her outside ASAP... Use training scents, you can buy it in a pet shop has a smell that makes them want to go there. If you are like me and work all day, then call in a professional, that is what i am doing to help me out with my puppy training problem, plus i have another dog, who was fully trained but since i got the new pup she has become ignorant.

Good Luck
