if you listen to other women you are crazy (they talk a big game but if you read some of there questions they have problems too) about leave him or as you put it once a cheater always a cheater but the fact is you need to learn to deal with this situation not run from it. Its not just men that do it and we all have a different reason and/or circumstance so if you don't care then just let him go but if you have the brain and some common sense then listen and figure out if he is for real he did be upfront with you so maybe you can let it go.

Then he most likely regrets it. However, alcohol is more than not just an excuse for doing stupid things. If it really was just because he was drunk, perhaps you guys should look into getting him into AA or into a good rehab so it doesn't happen again. If he insists on going to the bars where all the whores and sluts hang out, it's bound to happen ... sorry for the strong language, but I don't see many "Ladies" at the bars.

I think it will be hard to trust again. The person has to get the trust back, but it defenetly doesn't mean that he will always be a cheater.

I guess you should give him the benefit of the doubt, but only ever the once as I still think that a leopard never changes its spots. What will happen next time he is drunk!

Why would you want to be with someone who cheated even once? What excuse will he use the next time? Move on with your life.

well at least he told you, not that it makes him look any better. but just remember the saying "one time shame on you, 2 times shame on me" meaning it was his fault the first time around, if he does it again, you would be a fool to stay with him.
