Notably, even desperate circumstances don't make a lawless act moral. Proverbs 6:30-31 says, "Men do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy hunger when he is starving. Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house."Illegal aliens rightfully should face a very tough penalty, even if driven to lawbreaking for understandable reasons.Second, the law in Old Testament Israel required resident aliens to assimilate. They were to adapt to Israel's ways, not impose their own. For instance, Deuteronomy 16:9-15 requires all residents to observe the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Booths. This includes foreigners.Third God ordains civil government. Earthly authorities are his agents to restrain evil, protect the innocent, and punish the wrongdoer.

Romans 13:1-7 describes the divine ordination of civil authorities. It reads in part, "The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted. … "

Civil governments are part of God's common grace to protect people in a fallen, sinful world. It's why we appropriately owe allegiance to governing authorities of this world. It's also why courts of law assess punishment for lawbreaking, rather than mob rule or a tyrant's whim. This is a characteristic under common grace, the rule of law. Scripture passages sometimes referenced in connection with immigration actually speak more to immigrant policy than immigration policy. These are verses such as Leviticus 19:33-34 and Exodus 22:21. The latter passage reads, "Do not mistreat an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in Egypt."

Such verses call for fairness toward aliens and strangers, the same as how other passages say to treat widows and orphans. Importantly, these passages address treatment of aliens once they are in a country. They don't say anything about the criteria or the process by which aliens originally gained admittance into the nation.

A family member and close friend of mine married the wrong man (he cheated before and after marriage and is an all around jerk). She had a child too soon (because he was the wrong man to marry, much less have a child with him). Now I know she is miserable (she wears her wedding ring sometimes) and has been married for almost 6 years. I know she's with him for the money. Neither of them are rich but with combined income she can afford a lifestyle that would certainly change if she left. My mother says I am not a good friend since I never told her how I felt. I don't like to offer unsolicited advice because women rarely take that advice and will hold your concern for their well being against you. Is it wrong to not say anything? I am happily married and I wouldn't want her to think I am just trying to break her marriage up.

As per my perception, the Quran only emphasizes at the covering or hiding of genital areas (except with wife or slave girl). It just specifies the allowed physical relationships. I doesn't state any further details. The things that Islam forbids are very clearly mentioned in Quran without ambiguities or second thoughts. Although the masturbation is an act, after that one must get purified to offer prayers or recite Quran, but if one can get himself / herself purified sooner, than it can't become obstacle in performing religious duties. The other noteworthy point is that the semen can't be contained in the body. Those who don't masturbate, if not having any physical problems, get their semen discharge through wet dreams etc. I think the Quran is saying transgressors to those people who uncover their genitals for people other than wife, or slave girl. Further, masturbation helps one in controling his / her passions and helps to stop one from violating the law.

I'm thinking of doing neurosciencce because the brain and how people express themselves through it is incredibly interesting to me. I, however, know very little if nothing about neuroscience.
