Parents. As much as I try, as much as I get straight A's and be a good girl and daughter and everything, they are never proud of me. If they are, they sure don't show it. They just ask for more! What can I do to make them stop expecting so much and just be happy with who I am?

Why do Christians misunderstand the meaning of the word faith and attempt to replace its meaning with the word fact?

For instance they say that their bible is the fact that they use to say God exists but you have to have faith to believe; is this not in itself a contradiction in terms?

My two month old started crying inconsolably the last two nights for about four hours at a time, even after being fed, changed, rocked, etc. She doesn't have a fever and seems to be feeling okay the rest of the day. We recently moved into my parents house and I'm wondering if she misses her dad and her home.

I am guy looking for a pair of jeans that arent to baggy or to tight around my legs. I like the way orignal fit jeans fit ,but I dont like the leg part to be tight around my leg. It would be nice to find a pair of jeans that are in between tight and baggy. I dont like baggy jeans and I dont like tight jeans? Any suggestions ?

I've had a crush on this girl for over a year (pretty major, seeing as I usually forget about someone when a hotter girl comes aong), only problem is, she is dating my best friend. I have an unfinished bath in the current plans for my house, scheduled to start construction in a few weeks. I'm trying to find out how much it would cost to add the bath during, or after construction. The room will be framed and drywalled, but no plumbing, flooring, or fixtures will be installed. Assuming really cheap fixtures can anyone give me a central US estimate? Are we talking $10K or less? What's the absolute minimum I might be able to do this? (Sorry for such a dumb question. All the estimators I found are for ripping out an old bathroom and putting in a new one.)

Im christian, but im worried about the bad image other christians keep handing out to themselves, and to the name in general, being mean and unaccepting of anything different. For those of you who do tis, you arent making people "see the light" your doing just the oppisite. If you want to make christianty look good, then act somewhat christian. Lets not make ourselves look like fools, lets put out the good word in a good way
