No one has the right to say that another's religious belief is "stupid." There are some things that are not acceptable these days due to cultural mores (human sacrifice), but who are you to say that the people who believe that Dust Bunnies are an incarnation of Deity are wrong? What is "stupid" to one person may be perfectly reasonable to others. Look into your own life. I'm sure that you do at least one thing that others might consider stupid, and I bet that you're aware of it and keep doing it anyway. It's human nature, unfortunately, to ridicule those different than yourself in an attempt to bolster your own position, your own beliefs. Too bad that some people never make the attempt to mature past that.

I agree. the known answer would be that "god" does not administration you. in case you p.c. to do something that "god" disagrees with then you definately can accomplish that. however the assumption of being punished for a determination produced from loose will infrequently feels like freedom. it rather is like announcing the police branch gave me loose will to settle directly to rob a financial business enterprise yet I finally end up getting punished by rotting in detention center.

Why can't you believe whatever you want without criticizing what I believe in? If you choose to believe in "stupid chit" then have at it. Nobody cares but you.

"Freedom of religion" takes less ink than "freedom to believe stupid chit"...maybe that's why the Framers phrased it that way. ;P

I'd sign on to that. I'm tired of christians and other groups saying that the whole 'constitution doesn't say freedom from religion" means that theres should be shoved down our throat. Hey, if your dumb enough to buy it, then go ahead. Leave the rest of us out of it.
