Is anyone else a big brother, big sister?

I am and I have been for about a year, to a 13 year old girl.
She is very shy, and sometimes I feel that she doesn't value our time together, or get anything out of it. I have continued to do it because I think that I am making an impact, but I am not sure.
I ask her, and she says that she enjoys our time together, but she is very shy and I don't feel like she has opened up to me yet.
Although I know I am doing this for her, not me, I still feel like I don't want to waste my time, if she doesn't want me to.
I don't want to sound greedy, I am just wondering what other people's experiences are...

ladies! are you fed up with men and their (usually sexually orientated)?

derogatory comments? such as..."why buy the cow when the milk is free"...and hordes of other terms such as the female version of dog, or simply cow, or other terms for women who, who follow same practises as men. There are no male equivalent terms for these sexually orientated terms...apart from ones such as ..."why buy an entire pig for just a little piece of sausage"...can you think of any other such quirpy ones?

Hair Loss???

I am 24yrs of age and my hair is falling out/thinning... I have been to the docs and took blood samples and checked my thyroid glands and all was good, i was just low on vitamin B. I have been very depressed and felt a lot of stress, mainly last all through last year and I think it may of had something to do with that. Is there anyways I can get my hair to grow back?

Child Seat for Car With BUCKET SEATS?

Im looking for a car child seat age range from 18 months + that will fit in a Peugeot 206cc, IVE BEEN TO HALFORDS! So please dont suggest that! They didnt know and have refered me to Peugeot who dont know either!

I need a car seat that fits in the bucket like seats in the rear, the one Im looking at is the Kiddy Life or the Kiddy Life plus.

Ive found the kiddy life plus for sale on ebay, and on peugeots website it recommends the kiddy life, so Im just wondering is this the same seat? I am stuck can anyone with this type of carseat in their car help?

Dumping nuclear waste into the sun?

A bit of scientific whimsy here, since I know the cost would be prohibitive, but theoretically, would it be safe to throw a giant canister containing all of the world's radioactive waste from nuclear power plants into the sun? Or would it cause a flare that could incinerate our planet? What about the safety of throwing nuclear waste into a black hole?
