I have jury duty tomorrow- i'm also a few weeks pregnant. If i bring a note from my doctor, is this valid to get me out?

I have a dvd player that is connected to a vcr that is connected to a t.v. Until recently, this set up has worked fine. In the past few weeks, when watching dvds, the sound will start to "skip" (picture is find--the sound only is effected) in the middle of a movie or such. We have tried cleaning the head (with the cleaning disk) and nothing worked. Finally, we decided to buy a new dvd player yesterday and it is doing the same thing! So, what am I missing here? I checked and VCR tapes play fine (no sound skipping). The cords that connect the DVD & VCR players are new (came with the new DVD player). So, what is the problem? The T.V. plays fine too (when not playing a dvd). Help, please...

In one of my presentations, I want to compare various countries on different fronts.I want data on Budget Expenditure of Countries like US, UK and on the other hand that of India, China, Japan, Russia etc on Health, Defense, Education, Research and Development, Foreign Trade, etc.Besides the expenditure, I also want data on Life Expectancy, Per Capita income, Crime Rate,etc.
I will be very thankful to u if u even help me with even a few bits of information asked above.(pls dont suggest to go to some search engine and search for so and so as i have already tried such thinks but with Disappointing results...)

I've visited a few, I'm generally more interested in healing, and psychic/channeling, etc. but picked up Cunningham's book and found a surprising flood of energy (esp. addressing elements/directions, standing in the kitchen using a paring knife as a stand in). Started looking into local groups…haven't found anything like I'd imagined a practicing group to be, mostly interested in "playing witch", or recreating "ancient" ceremonies, trying to be practitioners of past times and different locals...(I'm critical, but practical). Have you ever belonged to a working group that really wanted to develop energy and community? And avoided the silliness that can come with some of the shallower writings? Am I being unrealistic?

I have been to the doctors twice a week to check my high white blood cell count. It is at 24.6. I am not noticabally sick, I don't feel sick. Nothing. My grandmother, mother, and sister have all experienced this too. They never found an answer for any of them, they were tested for everything from breast cancer to lukiema. Now I'm going throught the tests, everything is normal? Any insite would be appericated.

I work in a kitchen evenings after my classes and if anyone has ever cooked for a job, you know how exhausting and hot it gets in the kitchen, not to mention how much hard work it can be (i.e., working through supper rush, clean up, late nights). Plus I work late some nights and I am just having a heck of a time juggling the work and school and I feel like I never see my two young boys at all (ages 3 and 6.)

Does anyone else have any suggestions for other work I can do while going to college? Something part time that is not so exhausting and pays relatively decent, I don't have to be rich while working thru college but still need to put food on the table for my kids. Suggestions appreciated greatly.

2)Why is it more accurate to use the point of intersection of the two lines to find the mole ratio rather than the ratio associated with the greatest temperature change?
