I have a dvd player that is connected to a vcr that is connected to a t.v. Until recently, this set up has worked fine. In the past few weeks, when watching dvds, the sound will start to "skip" (picture is find--the sound only is effected) in the middle of a movie or such. We have tried cleaning the head (with the cleaning disk) and nothing worked. Finally, we decided to buy a new dvd player yesterday and it is doing the same thing! So, what am I missing here? I checked and VCR tapes play fine (no sound skipping). The cords that connect the DVD & VCR players are new (came with the new DVD player). So, what is the problem? The T.V. plays fine too (when not playing a dvd). Help, please...

It souns like the solder connection behind the audio input jack on your VCR is coming loose. Try connecting your DVD directly to the TV (without the VCR). If the problem stops, my diagnosis is confirmed.

The only solution would be to buy a new VCR or spend ridiculous amounts of money to get your old one fixed.

properly, i will't extremely help you with the MP3 downloads, yet i'm having an same mission with my computing device. Are you speaking about once you bodily put in a DVD and CD(no longer a downloaded version)? Everytime i attempt to play a DVD or CD, the noise skips, even the video. i imagine your DVD participant will be damaged, it truly is probable why mine gained't play both. Mine's been fantastic, and that i tried taking section in a area 2 tape in my computing device(from the united kingdom) about 5 months in the past, and that i spotted it did this. I only theory it became using actual shown reality that it became a international tape, and that i theory that became the way it really is meant to be. Then i tried my CDs, each little thing saved skipping. i imagine you ought to get your computing device appeared at at a computing device keep.

Are your DVDs clean? Mine will skip if there's fingerprints or scratches on them.
