Rocky, my 10 year old Lhasa Apso, is generally a sweet dog but occasionally gets ill tempered around strangers, especially smaller children (toddlers to 5th grade or so). He's generally a nice dog but can get sneaky.

Any suggestions aside from The Dog Whisperer?

About British (and Irish) Genealogy?

It is from my knowledge that the British people are descendants of Anglo-Saxon (German, Dutch) and the Nordics (Swedish, Norwegian) who travelled across the seas and settled in Britain between 600 A.D. and 1000 A.D.

But my question is that if the Brits' ancestors were basically settlers from those parts of mainland Europe, then what about the people who actually lived in the British Isles before the migrants arrived? Did these people exist, or do they still exist today? What is their cultural identity?

Winter is upon some of us. Thus, which is it: can gas lines really freeze or not? I've heard both sides...

I want to know so that I'm not wasting my money on HEET. I've heard people say that gas' freezing point is like negative 70 degrees Fahrenheit or something unbelievably low. I do use HEET during the summer when it rained all night or in the morning to since I knew water somehow got into the tank because of the way the engine would run until I drove for a few miles until it became normal again. This also happened when I would first start my truck up in the afternoon on really really humid days.

Also, I've heard that Isopropyl, aka rubbing, alcohol can be used in place of HEET, because that is basically what the product is. Is this true and if so safe for regular 87 octane gas engines?

What is preventing my computer from starting?

I just bought a new motherboard and and Intel Pentium 4 Processor. (They are both compatible) The processor is 1.6 GHz. I installed them into the case of a pretty old computer, and used that old computer's power supply and fan. I plugged all of the needed cables into the right sockets on the motherboard. (The old fan's cord couldn't reach the System Fan connector, so I plugged it into the Power Fan connector. Is that a big deal?) When I pressed the button on the front of the computer, nothing. I unplugged the powercord from the back, and I heard this high-pitched squealing that took about 20-30 seconds to completely stop. Would the old power supply be the reason for this? Thanks.

what was the scariest dream you ever had?

When I was like 9 I had a dream that my family and I were at disney and I told my mom I had to use the bathroom so I went in but when I came out my family were no where to be found and three guys jumped me and put my hand over the top of a sewer hole drain and pounded a huge metal rod through it.when I woke up my hand was bleeding*must of hit it in my sleep*but at that age it was a lil creepy.
I recently had a dream that I had killed like 5 people and dismembered their bodies and when the cops came to scope things out they started digging up floor boards and finding the missing peices.This is the truley funny part I woke up laughing...The investigator or whoever he was,in my dream walked up to me and said well thats all for today we'll come back tomarrow to look some more...ha! only in my dreams right, I mean seriously they find the five bodies and yet their going to let me go,what more do they need?

What's wrong with it?

I have a dodge stealth. Here lately, when I make a right or left turn, i hear this awful squeal , and the steering wheel is hard to turn. I added some power steering fluid. The steering isn't as hard to turn, but it still squeals and the turns are rough. Any advise/ suggestions?
