Why do you ask?
A pregnancy test is usually a plastic stick with an absorbent end (like hard cotton). You are supposed to put the absorbent end into your urine stream for about 5 seconds and then lay it flat. You will see the urine travel across the test and over an area where you will see a couple of lines (the test vary but most are just lines across the stick). Then you are supposed to wait anywhere from 2-5 minutes for the test to be ready to read. If you get one line you are not pregnant but if you get two lines (or a plus sign, or a window that says "pregnant") the test has indicated that the pregnancy hormone is in your urine and that you are going to have a baby.

at home pregnancy tests you just pee on the stick and wait for the results but if your talking about a doctor then it's a little different but still the same idea. you give them a urine sample and they run the pregnancy test on it going to the doctor and getting the test is the most accurate but some pregnancy tests are good too

No, you wee into a cup and they dip a tester in it. Or, if you're doing it at home, you pee onto a stick. The sticks in both cases detect a certain hormone only produced when pregnant.

No, you pee on a stick or in a cup & dip the stick into the urine. If you go to the docs they willeither do a urine test(you pee ina cup & they dip a test strip in it) or they draw blood & test it for hcg. (the hormone you produce when pg)

At home you pee on a test. There will be a paper like part that you pee on.
At the dr. office you pee in a cup and they test for you. OR they take blood and test that. Most likely you pee in a cup though.

You pee on the stick and wait 3 min. If you go to the doctors to do it you will do that and they will draw blood.

Stick it on your tongue.
If you don't know how to use a pregnancy test I would read the directions.

Why do you need to know?!
You said in your previous question that you are 13 and had no s-x
Perhaps you want to show your friends that you had s-x but you are not pregnant.
Maybe you are only curious but " curiosity kills the cat".
Take care of yourself you are only 13 and you have lots of time for such things now it is time to study.
