OK, so I know that stainless heats unevenly, cast iron traps old food junk in it, teflon coating is dangerous if it flakes or overheats, and aluminum transfers taste and something into food.

Soooo... I've seen that some fancy pans coat their cast iron or aluminum (better heat conduction) with a layer of stainless steel for the cleanliness steel provides. Just wondering what brands people are using that they are having success with - I know the better pans cost more, but health should be worth it!

Also, anyone know of any up/downsides to using a pan coated in tin?

I'm trying to find a place to live and retire comfortable, with a little nest egg I have, that wouldn't last long in the U.S. , but maybe in another country. We have a big beautiful old tree tree in out front yard. But it has either a green moss or mold on the bark from the ground up to about 20 feet up. First can anybody tell me exactly what it is? And second, is there a way to get rid of it without damaging the tree at all?

I'm getting married soon, but he was married once before. It only lasted2 and a half years, and he didn't love her. Married her really, cause she asked him to. They didn't have a "real" marrige. But, I can't forget that he was married, and that I'm not his first wife!!!!

Who frickin' decides what the breed standard is? All these supposed "lovers of dogs"? Who do it purely for the love and not for all the cash? And their the first ones to cry out against puppy farms(which I DO NOT ADVOCATE)but should they not bear some of the responsibilty?(Sure hurts their market share, doesnt it?) I mean hell, its a profitable racket, isnt it? Who made it that way? They dont carry or birth the pups themselves? So why do purebred animals cost so incredibly much money??????????????????????????????? Is it not enough to provide them with loving homes? And the margin is sickening. You can get a fully spayed/neutered and vaccinated dog from one of the hundreds of thousands of animal shelters around the world for less than a hundred US dollars. So these "papered" dogs are worth ten times as much? Feel free to disagree, I would love a genuine reason for this phenomenom? Why ounce for ounce some dogs are worth more than GOLD?

Let's call it what it is. this wall is a political move to keep all the racist people at ease and get their votes. If USA want it to stop illegal immigration they would send all those soldiers to help INS and patrol and close all those businesses that hires illegals, believe me as soon as all the employers know that they can lose their business by hiring illegals they will stop and there will be nothing for illegals to risk their lives coming to the US. their own family would not feed them, cloth them, house them for long and they themselves would send them back to Mexico. Why do black people depend on white people so much. I mean since black people are equal. But i mean places like south africa, rhodesia, and social performance in the western world suggest outherwise. Now this is where we approach the blame game. In the real world that i live in i was taught that you can never blame anyone for any of your problems because somewhere along the magical line of transaction you made mental choices. mental choices are than manifested into physical actions. Talking is physical action for example.Now i was further taught, and this was by my white father, that youre choices affect the exchange. SO now on broad standing issues like racial assumptions blame at white men is destroyed when you look at the performance of blacks at that time. We never came up with the idea the chinese were racial targets, because they had cities and jobs. Black people had no wheel!!!, written language or a working language. That would give you a deep deep impression of ones psyche.
