Your ipod should have come with itunes software. You need to put this on your computer. iTunes will then import songs on your computer into its files or you can download songs from the itunes website or you can save cd's into itunes. Then you connect your ipod to your computer with the provided USB cable. It will automatically import the music from itunes onto your ipod. When it says update is done, you can disconnect your ipod from the computer and enjoy.

well first get i tunes then go to lime wire or another music program find a song u like and down load
