That is very difficult to answer. There are so many genres. So amny Actors. So many Directors. You know ? I will assume you mean newer movies...I actually like many old movies too.

Suspense/ The Village..The Green Mile..Vanilla Sky..Mary Reilly
Science Fiction/ Aliens..War of the Worlds..AVP..I robot..Artificial Intelligence...
Drama/ A beautiful mind..Good Will Hunting..Man on Fire..Single White Female...The notebook (although this was a love story also)
Action/ T2..Master and Commander..Armeggedon..Day after tomorrow
Comedy/ Black Sheep..Office Space..Meet the Parents..Dick and Jane
