I wish to ask a simple question which possess no simple answer. Would you not agree that our society has become far too politically correct for its own good? If we are to continue any actuall debate or sociatal discourse we must not be afraid to hurt peoples feelings. No matter which way you go if you have an opinion you will hurt someones feellings. The day will come when America is no more. All the previous Empires of the past have fallen. The Roman Empire fell. The Byzantine Empire fell. The Ottoman Empire fell. The world as we know it will end one day. I don't mean in the apocalyptical sense but as a transformation. Perhaps we will have a United Earth with a decentralized government dividing the world into managible entities of smaller size. Perhaps one may finally succeed in total world domination. Where is the next Babylon or Center of the Civilized World? Will it be China, India, or somewhere else? Will there be many Babylons? Will there be a return to primordial choas as with the original ancient Babylon? What will become of all the great nations of today? The Eternal Sea aka Politics is just that for it is in constant turmoil as with the Seas of this Earth forever changing the landscape of this earth. What do you envision for the future of mankind?

I have several tattoos already, all quality stuff... no druggie type tattoos (no offense intended to anyone). I am morphine dependant due to a severe injury. My search is for good, quality imagry that symbolizes an addiction and the struggle surrounding it. So far... fisherman's nets wrapping up existing tattoos is all that comes to mind. I appreciate the input!

I am a Christian, and have been one for my whole life. My questions is for Muslims. Your faith is based on "peace." I know that almost 99% of Muslims completely do not agree with the acts of terrorism being committed by their people. They claim that most people are not like that and that most Muslims are peaceful people. However, what I don't understand is that these normal, peaceful people are still reading the Quran which states to "kill the infidels," (literally, the Quran in Surah 9:5 states that all Muslims must fight and slay the pagans...in this case, meaning Christians, Jews, what have you.) I don't understand what type of God would condone hate and killing. Please clarify.

Ok...My friend just got engaged and is planning to get married in December of 2007 because she is just about to start school and will be done October of 2007. SHe planned the wedding for December because of 'financial reasons'. SHe will have student loans to pay off, and she just told me they are taking out a loan for $18k for the wedding!! I think this is crazy since neither of them have good jobs (she is a waitress at the olive garden....) I know it is NOT good to start off a marriage in debt, so should I say anything to her? I totally respect their decisions, but I just worry about them =0( What to do...what to do....
