I absolutely adore any form of synth and have really gotten into OMD. But all my friends say they are soppy 80s drivel that should be left in the 80s.
What do you think? Any words of encouragement would be nice!

OMD is one of my FAVORITE groups from the 80's. You tell your friends they need to get OVER themselves! Invite them over, pop open a couple of beers and dance your butts off!! Enola Gay and the whole rest of that album were classics!! Check out the link below for lots of fun facts!

OMD can be a bit sexy....i loves the 80's synth and the following 90's synth pop too.

Fantastic to find another fan, Music is awesome though when I bought " The best of " I was surprised that Pandora's box and Seven Seas were missing but if you haven't bought it yet I would highly recommend it especially for the last 2 12" versions at the end of the CD.

OMD were mint...maid of orleans...wot a song.forever live and die and if u leave from the film pretty in pink.shame the singer went to manage atomic kitten....wot a loss.

I am very proud to say that I own their greatest hits cd which I play quite often. Favourite songs have got to be Enola Gay and Maid of Orleans. Classic!

i like them, but not to an extreme. there's absolutely nothing wrong with synth. look how far it's taken Depeche Mode and Erasure! 80s rule!

Yes, I liked some of their music, but they were'nt my fave. Joan of Arc was never ending.
