Honestly, we should have all realized this years ago.
Well my question is...what if insurgents from IRAQ (or Afghanistan) were to pull off a similar attack such as 9/11. Would you still support how Bush is handling things? Please support your answer.

the fools that support him now, would probably support him even more. If there were another terrorist attack on the US, it would be a boon to the republican party- as they can say "i told you so". Oddly enough, if there is a democrat in office during the next terrorist attack- it will not be favorable to them.

strange but true. Sad really- as clearly the republican's policies have put us much more at risk, diverted our attack on the terrorists to this strange war in Iraq, and incited significantly more ire towards our country.

really really bad... Mr. Bush.

Well, as a common lay person this is what I think. I have to have confidence that there are people in positions to know much more than I do. They know things that we will never know. We know only what they chose to let us know. And that's okay with me, that's why we elect them and pay them and I can only trust them and allow them to do their jobs.

Now, that doesn't mean that I absolutely agree with every decision that they make or everything they do, but I don't think it would be possible for every American to agree on anything.

Would I still support Bush if Iraq attacked us, yes. Why? Because he is our president, whether you like that fact or not, whether you voted for him or not, and I believe that as our president he deserves our support. The country elected him and now since we, as a nation, put him in that office, he should be able to expect our support.

Let me finish by saying that I did not vote for him. So this is not coming from a die-hard Bush supporter, just a patriotic American woman who believes that the the person holding the office of the President of the United States deserves some respect.

I help him, hes accomplished what he believed replace into perfect, no longer hassle-free.He asked the Congress for permission to apply rigidity to oust Saddam, it replace into additionally in help of a determination handed interior the 90s making that a countrywide coverage of the U. S.. Up until 2003 optimum Democrats additionally pronounced that Saddam had weapons of Mass Destrution and alter into attempting to construct or aquire greater. In 2002 Bush tried to establish a countrywide comprensive power coverage that could desire to have addressed our issues and inspired the shape of commerce power. Stopped by skill of shortsighted liberals that have been upset that he had went to experts interior the sphere for suggestion. the biggest concern with Katrina replace into that the community and State government (the two Democrat run) had no plans for evac the inhabitants and did no longer enable federal help in for a pair of days. What he did interior the so called "wiretapping" we captured various hundred telephone numbers in Afganistan. those numbers have been listened in on. the concept being that it replace into in simple terms achievable that human beings interior the U. S. have been participants of Al Quada, thinking the activities of 9-11 a secure precaution (you do remember that date do no longer you?) a procedures as torture is worried, have you ever heard of Dan Pearl? What we do to collect guidance from people who do such issues isn't something. And from what I quite have study of it what we've accomplished is hassle-free in comparison to what occurs to captured human beings. So I help the president and thank God that somebody you help isn't president.

No I would urge the president to surrender to the Islamo fascists, put my wife in a burka, adopt sharia law, pray to the east 5 times a day and join in the global jihad against anyone non-Islamic.

Those are the terms of surrender, whether you like it or not, whether michael moore told you or not, that is the only way they will accept peace from us. Not till theirs is the global islamic caliphate, or they are annhilated, will there be peace.

We must fight them at all costs. dhimmitude is not an option

Nice unbiased reports....

Using MSNBC and the Washington post to write bad press about Bush is like asking Conservatives to write bad press about Clinton....

Steve... part of being informed is considering the source of the information that you are using to base your opinion.

Please.... don't be naive.

Yes.
Occupation - I'm sorry. I thought both countries had elected governments. If the US is the occupying force, who should be ruling Afghanistan and Iraq?

I always support my president.

The only question is a matter of degree.

If he were to personally go into battle or trade himself for an American hostage in Iraq or Afghanistan, I would support him a whole lot more.

I'd vote for W for "Prez for Life". Not because I'm in favor of the war in Iraq (I'm not) but because he's done the ONE thing that I wanted him to do when I voted for him....namely, putting conservatives on the Supreme Court. Now mebbe we'll get that hideous Roe v. Wade overturned......
