Its idleness on the grower`s behalf. If you properly lag the growing room, you dont get a heat signature, with the added benefit of needing less power to maintain the temp
I dont think the drought is caused by increased police efficiency anyway. If the price of dope sticks at around £25-30/ounce,theres bugger all profit in it,but the penalties are the same for dealing.
A more sensible price for decent dope is around £90/oz,that way the dealers make a nice profit, and theres a chance that reasonable quality can be found(Afghani, leb, rather than the ubiquitous eurodope)

since the glory daze of "Cheech and Chong" and b4, there will be the paranoia police spreading such big brother is watching tactics as this...grow just enough for your own head...not for a living...no helicopter is looking for 1 or2 plants; so respect the herb...let the big producers get busted...some day "We the People" in wash d.c. will get wise, treat it like wine and beer and such, regulate it and tax it fairly, all will be very happy and with en 18 months our beloved country will be out of debt and very peaceful, and will have an excess of funds to use on non-military aid, medical needs, homelessness will no longer be an issue, schools will no longer need bake sales to buy supplies, etc., etc., all due a few million regular folks smoking a harmless herb legally (Bet ya didn't realize what a big difference a few pot smokers could make in the world, huh?)

No! The US government is the biggest drug dealer in the world, and most of the money made by the government is washed through wallstreet. These drugs are a big reason this economy still revolves.

No, it grows just fine under flourescent lighting and there is little or no heat from those. Also, bulk is grown outdoors usually South of the border.

never happen, lots is imported and there are too many legitimate uses of hydroponics, heat is only a problem because some idiots insist on growing it in their attics where the heat signature is really obvious.

there is more chance of the police drying up than cannabis.the drug is used in all walks of life.the only way to stop drugs is to show the people the drug dealers living the good life while than dig in the gutter trying to get there next fix

It would be nice if the illegal drug trade was to dry up, but I don't expect that ever to happen. The Mexican economy, among others, would collapse, and our government would not allow that.
