My answer:
I= $970.00 Interest
P= $33,000.00 Bonus
Equation: I = x(.04) + (P-x)(.0225)
The amount invested at 4%, while P-x is the money she invested at 2.25%.
$970 = x(.04) + 742.5 - .0225x
970 = .04x + 742.5 - .0225x
227.5 = .0175x
x=$13,000.00
Melanie invested $13000 at 4%, and
$33000-$13000=$20000 at 2.25%

Well the first time we broke up was b/c her x boyfriend the one she lost her virginity to move back from virginia or some place.. once she was with him for about a month she came back to me saying that she was in love with me and only me. then about 10 months later she gets her first job and meets some "attractive" guy there and goes off with for about a month. once again comes back to me saying she is in love with me and wants to be with me... i take her back, now we have been dating since last october, so about a year with ups and downs just like everyone else... was I right on taking her back or am I doomed for doing so? Because of some answers I received for another question about dating, I was polite to a man who asked me out tonight. I've been ignoring the phone for the last 1 1/2 hour because he has already called and spoken to me a couple times tonight.
I have received 8 missed calls from him so far tonight! Our last phone conversation (2 1/2 hours ago) he was asking me realationship questions and intimate questions (polietly but still inappropriate)
This is why I don't bother with the dating thing!
What do I do now????

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here has ever experienced a true Christian who was able to speak in his or her last hours or days.
I`m experiencing something so awesome and beautiful. there or no words to describe.
My husbands Grandmother is 88 and the Dr`s give her a few hrs or days to live. For the past few days she has been in the hospital, all of her kids there ever minute, they are getting to enjoy her and her them. She is praising god and ready to go whenever he is ready to take her, I know she is so sick that she really don’t have an appetite, but she keeps eating, because she has such a strong will to do gods will. She knows it wont be long now and she is laughing and talking with her children. It`s beautiful. The Dr and nurses say they have never seen anything like this. She has taught alot of us so much about love and fogivness.
To my Christian brothers and sisters, will you please pray that when it’s her time, god will take her with no pain what-so ever. In Jesus name?

Would it be considered an eating disorder if I feel hungery but don't eat? I do eat dinner because I'm so hungery by then. Sometimes I will pick at food during the day and sometimes nothing until dinner. The thing is I'm happy with my body, I really have no idea how I developed this habit. Whats up with me?

We can all agree that attacks on american soldiers in iraq are justified, but is terrorism against Americans on American soil also justified?

It's about a babysitter who goes to a house to watch some kid and during the night a murderer tries to kill her.

From the commercials, it looks like the house is by a lake. Theres a scene I remember that had the actress receiving a call from the police saying "they have traced the call and it's coming from inside the house" or something along those lines. Anyone know the name of that movie?

I find the christian argument against gay marriage to be hypocritical at best. Do you buy it? They say gay marriage would ruin the institution of marriage, but in other countries where it's legal, there is no proof of that at all. They say marriage is the foundation of our society, but it already has a 1-in-2 failure rate. Something that weak/poor is the foundation of our society? They say it's against the bible. But adultery is against the bible (it's actually serious enough to warrant a commandment all its own) AND it's clearly damaging to marriage. Yet, christians do not deny adulterers the right to marry & divorce, and marry & divorce repeatedly, and continue to decay the institution of marriage. Jesus never speaks one word against gays, but he clearly speaks out against divorce. The christian reply to that paradox? Hate & denigrate gays -- and make divorce so easy that it's practically an institution. Who is ruining marriage? Is hate and dishonesty really the answer?
