Isn't God supposed to be all encompassing? Does George W have a direct line or what?

Whether they believe it or not, they know there's a fair sampling of undereducated, brainwashed Christians out there that will vote for "God's Party" no matter what. Jerry Falwell himself pledged to some fundamentalists that God will keep the Republican Party in power, while decrying Hillary Clinton as "Lucifer". Who needs critical thinking when you can vote simply for the candidate who's best wrapped in the American flag and waving a crucifix like a football pennant?

Liberals tend to support and accept other faiths (even non-faiths), which neocons use to paint them as "weak" and "kissing up" to non-Christian zealots. It's really lowered the quality of public discourse when people are swayed by this rhetoric more than their own logical expectations of what is needed to run a country.

It makes me wonder then when the GOP cuts education so much. The less educated people are, the less prone they are to use critical thinking skills, refer to history and political theory, and arguably, be less discerning with politicians who make grandiose speeches about family values and morality, while at the same time exercising discrimination (gay marriage ban) and social inequity (tax cuts for rich, ad nauseum).

Woof. What a world.....

idk if newshounds have a particular activity or stake, which includes they're traders notwithstanding this does come into effect. i think of the persons themselves are only biased and don't even comprehend what they're doing. and it is not only political positions. it is the airplane crash, the pirates and each little thing else. The newshounds for sure sense a definite way in regards to the activities and that they don't do a stable job of hiding it. even whilst they do conceal how they sense, we'd say they're chilly and unfeeling in the event that they did not bypass judgments on the concern. which includes typhoon katrina, in the event that they only reported the data without expressing any empathy or compassion. it is excellent i assume only understand that listening to the information is not extra objective journalism than observing a disney movie or listening to some under the impact of alcohol guy ramble on the corner. it is purely some guy telling you the way he feels, how he observed it. The be conscious isn't gospel and you will desire to not make any judgements in keeping with what somebody else is attempting to sell you.

No conservatives don't think that God supports any political party. He is for or against certain behaviour as advocated by those parties.

Only the stupid neocons actually THINK that.
However, God isn't all-encompassing to most people in the U.S. who say they believe in Him. God is more of a fad to most people, a way to feel "in" with the "holy" crowd.
These people will vote for anyone who touts God's name.

The Republicans EMBRACE GOD while the Democrats embrace a deviant ideology which distances THEM from God's ways.
We do not believe God is only FOR us and against YOU...you kind of set that up yourselves by taking God out of....well...everything!
