Because of some answers I received for another question about dating, I was polite to a man who asked me out tonight. I've been ignoring the phone for the last 1 1/2 hour because he has already called and spoken to me a couple times tonight.
I have received 8 missed calls from him so far tonight! Our last phone conversation (2 1/2 hours ago) he was asking me realationship questions and intimate questions (polietly but still inappropriate)
This is why I don't bother with the dating thing!
What do I do now????

tell him hes too clingy and geta life u gotta throw it in his face cuz it looks like hes not the type thats smart enough to take the hints and realizing hes being a flamer

Clearly this man has NO game, no confidence, and doesn't know how to date. Eight missed calls in 90minutes? Even on my worst day I never called someone that much (ok, ok, maybe 8 times).
The easy way out is to ignore him and not call him back ever. Most people take the easy way out. The right way and the high road is to call him and just let him know that you are not interested and that you hope he finds what he is lookign for. Guaranteed he is going to ask you "why? what did I do?" and maybe even get angry. If at any point you get uncomfortable just tell him calmly and politely "Ok, I didn't want to have to say this but please don't call me anymore, I'm not interested."
And from there on out, you've done your part and you can ignore the rest of his calls if he's a ******-boy and can't get the hint. Some men think you're playing hard to get but in reality you're not. These kinds of guys are totally clueless. Unfortunately, in order to find that prince, you have to date and maybe even kiss a few frogs.
Unbelievable.

I have the same problem,I put him in place 2 nights ago and no calls,I feel at peace right now!I just told him,my cell phone showed he took up 14 hours of me on the phone and I am not a phone person and I know it hurt him coz he is more like a best friend.but,I feel so much better getting a break from all the calls!

Oh lord, you've got a cling-on. Be frank with him and tell him he needs to slow down or you won't be able to continue talking with or seeing him. If he doesn't get the point, you've got yourself a stalker. Those are dealt with on a case by case basis usually by completely ignoring them.

RUN!!! He apparently is somewhat obsessive and he hasn't really got a chance to know you. Could you imagine if you dated this guy, how he would react if you didn't answer the phone?? He has already made you feel uncomfortable, don't bother.....BLOCK HIS #...turn off the phone!

Tell him you are not into him like that. Tell him you are not ready for a relationship. Yes, the famous line, it's not you, but.... Be truthful with him, but don't lead him on. He will stop calling you, and if he doesn't, change your number.

a loser, ditch him. I have a girl who is a stocker.. and i dumped her *** 3 months ago.. and she still calls me and hangs up. soo annoying.

the next time he calls answer the phone and tell him straight up to piss off and stop calling and then before you hang up tell him "for the record you came on a little strong loser" then hang up.
