Well the first time we broke up was b/c her x boyfriend the one she lost her virginity to move back from virginia or some place.. once she was with him for about a month she came back to me saying that she was in love with me and only me. then about 10 months later she gets her first job and meets some "attractive" guy there and goes off with for about a month. once again comes back to me saying she is in love with me and wants to be with me... i take her back, now we have been dating since last october, so about a year with ups and downs just like everyone else... was I right on taking her back or am I doomed for doing so? Thanks to all who give honest, truthful answers

Depends on why you took her back. Do you have a low self esteem? Don't think you can get another girl etc? If your just "hanging on" to have someone, then yes. Totally wrong for taking her back. That affliction is causing you to not see the situation for what it is. If that is the case, speculation of course.
Whats been going on in her life lately? Is she happy or waiting for the "next big thing" and you are just someone to play with until?
Finally for the simple reason you are writing this question, shows you doubt her love, faithfulness, honest etc. So what do you really have? Maybe you should be the one to let it go for you. You will then know if its right or not or just comfortable.
Right now, your not in a relationship, your in a pattern, like an addiction. Walk away yourself so you can see better.

The old saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, really comes into play here. If you are asking the question weather or not you should have taken her back again, has pretty much already been answered in your own mind. You have doubts and fears about this relationship already, and she has not proven herself to be able to resist the current "attractive" guy around, so do yourself a favor, and save yourself some heartache, and kick her flakey *** to the curb. Take time for yourself and really think about what you want out of a relationship, and what qualities you want in a person as your partner. Too many people rush into relationships because of good looks, or sexuality, getting in deep before they realize that the inside of a person needs to be as beautiful as the outside. Good Luck!

This is a lesson I learned the hard way. You can not change people and have also learned there are some who if they think you need them or are dependent on them they loose interest. It is not the relationship that interest them but the challenge. In our case as cruel as it sounds the message to me is that sex to her, regardless of with who is more important than you. That said the real question to me is do you believe in your heart that she is all you are worthy of or do you believe that you are worth more and can do better. The issue is your esteem, your self image, when you can answer the question of your personal worth, the question of how you will allow someone to treat you in a relationship will answer itself.

you know its up to you i have a friend from highschool who dated the same guy on and off for years ( at one point the guy was with my sister) and they are now both single parents that are back together and very much in love and have a child and are setting a wedding date..........so you never really know whats going to happen but i guess a better question is could you live with yourself if you didnt take the chance at being with her?

Well do you feel that she won't do it again.. Or will she run off with the next hottie she see's? You know the answer to your own question. Its just a matter of letting go.
Just think if you left her twice for other woman would she have taken you back??? Find that out.

Grow a set and tell her no. You've tried it 2 times already and shes just settling for you now until the next guy comes along.

You are taking a chance, but if you love her it may be worth it. Hopefully she has learned her lesson. If she leaves again, you should forget about her and move on. Three times is the charm and three strikes your out.

THE ANSWER ONLY YOU CAN SAY IF IT IS RIGHT OR NOT

IF SHE DID, THIS BACK AND FORTH NONSENSE WOULD
NOT BE HAPPENING, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT IN YOUR
HEART, BUT BE WARE.. AS LONG AS YOU ALLOW HER
TO KEEP PLAYING THESE GAMES, THE WORST IT
WLL GET, AND FOR SAKE OF MIND, WHAT ABOUT
\STD. ETC. SHE BACK AND FORHT WITH THESE MEN
THAT NOT GOOD EITHER.
