Recently I made Gulab Jamuns at home. Still there were few problems that left them not tasty. I want you to help me plz.

I did not prepare dough at home and used dough available in the market. The milk was used in kneading the dough. I fried them in Pure Ghee. Still when I ate them, the Gulab Jamun seemed UNCOOKED from inside, specially at the middle of the balls. I even put a kismish inside the Gulab Jamun balls so that they do not remain uncooked at the core. It was very hard to bite at the middle.

But when I buy it from the market, they are very soft from inside. Why so?
Moreover there were cracks on the outer side of the balls. They also did not look nice from outside.

What is the trick to make Gulab Jamuns softer at the core and also look nice?

I have read a lot of things on not allowing children under 2 to watch television. But is it ok if you watch it with them? If it is age appropriate? I mean I'm obviously not letting my son watch bad shows, but his dad likes to let him watch sports with him. I am so confused over this because I don't want my son to have ADD or something when he starts school. I mean we play baby games all day with him, isn't occasional TV alright? By the way he is only 6 months old. He really likes Baby Einstein so I leave it on when he plays, sometimes he watches sometimes not. What does everyone else think about this?

I'm only 18 weeks pregnant right now, but I've been told in the past (by previous gynecologists) that I have very narrow pelvis bones and a narrow birth canal and that a vaginal labor would probably be very difficult and painful for me. I also have always experienced some pain during sex because of this. My uterus is also tilted. Well anyway, my OB now, says that he feels I should be able to deliver vaginally just fine. I'm worried though. has anyone else every been told they are 'very narrow' by a doc and yet still delivered vaginally??

What do you think of marketing tactics that use words that imply "healthy" (e.g. natural, lite, lo, low-fat etc.) when the reality is rather different.

Example 1: Cigarette manufacturers are currently facing court action over their marketing of "lite" cigarettes (which seem to be more even more harmful than regular kind) as a somehow "healthier" option.
Example2: A Which! survey shows cereals that use words like "natural" etc. are full of sugars or fats & hardly natural.

Please ignore the emotive topics of cigarettes & cereals, this is a question about marketing & how it can mislead.
How would it be if they told the truth ... ?
