after buying some more living rock for my marine tank i discovered two eel like creatures in them. what are they and will they harm my fish and shrimps allready in the tank?

if the worms are fury they are fire worms and are not only venomous but also destructive to you coral.do not touch them with your bare hands!

Bristle worms, peanut worms, flat worms, spaghetti worms, you are not being very descriptive. Try this site http://www.bluecrayfish.com/cycle.htm . I would also suggest you get up in the middle of the night and scout through your tank with a flash light covered in red semi-clear plastic. Little beasties won't hide form it and you would be amazed at what you see.
