I've made cheese scones and I've followed the recipe to the letter including any allowances for it being gluten free and i don't have a dough i have a pile of stodge (which i'm now trying to cook but the outside is done and the inside is still soft).

Anyone else had similar experiences and found a way round it? I could kill for some decent pastry!!!

You dying for a wee and the bathrooms in use by a family member whose having a shower and been in there ages.

You knew you should have gone before they went in there but you thought you could hold on as they were in a rush to get in bathroom to go out that evening.

What do you do?

You do have some choices..............

You have a younger brother or sister whose still in nappies so do you put one of them around you a best you can and wee.

Do you go in the back garden?

Find something around the house you can use in meantime and empty into loo when bathroom becomes free?

Bang on the door and tell them to get a bloody move on?

Or something else?

You choose!


Personal experience in this field and i will confess once i didnt need a wee i needed a poo and i actually pooed my pants!

Another time i did actually use a pampers nappy which i found in my mum and dads room when they were looking after a friends baby.

Nappy was soaked but at least relieved!

but they moan like hell if your child happens to be ill. (usually because the first person to get the seasonal cold doesn't stay away from school.

The teachers at our local school are always off ill, and they don't have substitutes that can teach the lesson.

Not that I like my child off school, I much prefer him to take as little time off as possible.

This bloke was walking in London when he saw three lovely ladies wearing short skirts trying to sell Sky football packages. So he appoched to first lady and dropped a 50 pence coin and as she bent down to pick it up for him and he noticed she had blue knickers on. On asking why she replied "I support Chelsea".

He moved to the second lady and did the same trick this time they were white. She replied "I support Spurs".

For example: Say you are in the supermarket, and your6 year old kid is whining over a toy he wants. However, he already picked out something else and he agreed to pick only one thing. Now the whining has escalated into a fit, and you tell him firmly in a raised voice to shape up or get ready for a spanking. Kid shapes up immediately. However, a few women walk past you muttering about child abuse under their breath and glare at you.

If you agree this scenario is child abuse, what should a parent do? In this case, leaving the store is not an option because you are picking up weekly grocery and won't have time to do it later, and it's for necessities: diapers for the baby, food for the house, toilet tissue, lunch prep... etc

Very interested in hearing why someone would consider correcting a child in this manner ( firm talk, option to end the behavior, or the option of a swat on the bottom) is abuse. Kid was not spanked at all. He opted to chill out.
