Which one has the best coverage and stays put the longest, especially on someone whose T-zone gets oily less than an hour after applying make up? All I hear about is Bare Escentuals, but a guy I talk to all the time at Sephora swears up and down that Urban Decay's is the best. I've tried Neutrogena's, but it doesn't do diddly as far as coverage goes. Oh yeah- before someone says "it doesn't matter what kind, you have to stop your skin from getting oily first", I do everything possible as far as washing and prep goes. My skin looks splendid for the first hour or so after washing etc- soft as a baby's bum and clear as can be, but by noon I'm sunk. Both my dermatologist and aestician who waxes my 'brows claim that some people are just like that, and I'm one of them. *Shrug*. Thoughts?

They look like giant babies, are they a purely British phenomenon? do other countries have babymen?

Recently, I had a new neighbor move in next door to me. I'm not prejudiced or anything, but my new neighbor is a little person who's about 3 feet tall.

So, I saw him tending to his garden the other day, and I went out and introduced myself to welcome him to the neighborhood.

I wanted to make him feel comfortable so I asked him about himself. I asked him about his job and then I asked him if he was good at gardening because he was a Gnome -- (or a Gnome-American), and if it was a tradition that had been past down to him.

I think I may have offended him, so now I'm wondering why ... I'm not sure if he's ashamed of his heritage and doesn't like to talk about it. I'd like to ask him more questions, like about when they wear the red hats. Are you not supposed to ask little people about their ancestors (I'm pretty sure they're descended from gnomes). I don't know why they wouldn't want to talk about it -- I'm Irish-American and like to talk about Irish food and drink if asked.

I have this friend of many years that I just recently have discovered may likes me. Everytime she sees me, she tries to find a way to get me alone with her. Anyway, I just met one of her friends and asked a question about where they met. I was curious but not interested. Well, she shot back a hesitant answer and then asked why I cared. She then asked where I met one of my friends she had just met, but she did not seem to care about my answer. Did I do something wrong?

Fair question. In a P.C. world if someone makes a comment about black people, muslims, Jews, Catholics and Protestants their is always a majority backlash in the name of equality.

On occassion these backlashes can be ideallic, even self-righteous and a lot of the time I feel people just say what they know is socially acceptable rather than what they really think.

Do you have any right to repremand someone who uses the word nig.ger if you've ever laughed or told a Michael Jackson joke, or made fun of chavs or Gypsies? Have you ever laughed at the jokes in South Park depicting Jews as stereotypes? Have you ever crossed the street to avoid a group of black youths, chavs or skin heads? Have you ever made fun of blondes or ginger people? Is that not a form of bigotry and prejudice?

Is there such a thing as good natured racism? Or sensible racism? Are there more socially acceptable forms of bigotry than others? Or is everyone accountable for their comments regardless?

How would you go about starting a concierge business? Would you begin part-time (for the sake of keeping you full-time job and salary in the beginning) or how else would you go about doing this (credit cards and bank loans are not an option)?

The Sword Of Christ, By Ali Ataie
http://www.voiceforislam.com/SwordOfChrist.html

[Note from the Author: When reading this article, please keep in mind that as Muslims, we do NOT hold the following Bible verses regarding the beloved Prophet Jesus ( Isa-- peace be upong him) to be true. The points made, therefore, are only intended to expose the hypocrisy of the modern-day Christian Evangelical's claim that the Musim scripture advocates violence.]

It is quite common to hear in the West the notion that Islam "was spread by the sword." Did you know that the word "sword" does not even appear in the Qur'an? It does however, appear in the Bible, 434 times!
