With all the Middle Eastern violence and all the death, destruction, disease and hatred all over the world, why does God let it go on? Why does an Apocalypse have to be the answer?

Kind of makes you wonder if there really is a God.

The idea of an apocalypse is silly christian nonsense.

The world only seems miserable to you because you are choosing to see it that way.

This works the way it does because God gives us what ever we want.

If we want something different we need to change our mind about the world we see around us.

When we do, God gives us that new world instead.

Each of us gives the world all the meaning that it has for us.

I don't see the world as being full of death, destruction, disease and hatred. I see a peaceful and loving world.

One of us must be living in a delusion.

I'd much rather have mine than yours.

Love and blessings

The Apocalypse is a form of suicide for when things get so bad that there is no way to heal. It's actually a self fulfilling prophecy in that by telling people the world will end, they will engage in the actions that will bring it about. They prepare for war, the first sign on angst is their sign to take up arms, there's a big fight, a lot of blood shed, bigger and bigger weapons, then there is no one left to kill.

I think God gave up us on us. I mean he did the whole flood thing with Noah's Ark. What was the end result of that? We revert back to the way we were. It already says in the bible that he isn't going to interfere on that level again. And I don't blame him. What's the point? I would just sit back and see how far humanity will last.

This is why I do not live in the Middle East. I do not care about it, i do not want to care about it. I just want it to stay over there.

This is why I am happy. Empathy is for suckers...

For example, the majority of the protesters who want the US out of Iraq are the same people complaining that we are not doing anything in Dafur. Obviously these people are happy being unhappy. Go figure.

God gave us mortal human being something called FREE WILL .
He is letting us see what happenes when we are not following his word .
God is mearly standing back as a good parent would and letting us
fall down as we are learning to walk .
Don't worry though he does have a plan !

Much of today's misery come from people that know how to use varying beliefs in God to promote their own greed. The world might be better off without one illusion.

God has given us the will to prevent these things from happening.

He even give us difficult circumstances to remind us of His presence to drew us nearer to Him... to ask for His forgiveness...to ask for His understanding.

Destruction is not the answer. Look around you...there are still great things in store for all of us. We just have to know how to identify these greatness of God!

Does It Really Have To Happen: 11Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Because it was foretold since the beginning of time. With any luck you will be gone before that happens. So cheer up!
