A better determinant would be what have you accomplished in your personal growth before getting married? Have you traveled? Have you completed your education? Do you have the car you always wanted? Do you have a savings which you can afford to take 2 months pay for an engagement ring? Do you have at least 3 months pay on top of that saved up? After marriage, baby usually shows up. Think about all of these things and then some and you will know what is a good age for getting married.

I say mid to late 20's for a woman. By then you've finished school and (hopefully) are established in a good job so you won't be trying to do these things after 3 kids, car pools and diaper changes. You can have something more solid to offer a guy than a cinderella syndrome or waiting for prince charming to save you kind of thing. I married at 22, but had no job or completed college. It was hard to try and go back to school when you have small children and a husband who thinks you're suppose to stay at home for him to take care of you. I wised up years later, but, oh, the time I wasted! If my mother had taught me better, I would have been better prepared. But thank God I learned and I share it with other young women.

it is not the age that matters. It is the maturity of the couple involved. Do you have a career, home and car. Money saved for the future children, do you want children. Age is not the issue it is the question of are you mentally, physically and emotionally ready for a life time commitment. Think before you leap.

I don't think there is a better best or worst age of marriage .the key is to find the right person when you find you can marry when you want . So the main point is to find the right girl.

There really is no right age to get married.
I would suggest at least 25 or later. It gives you time to get your life in order and know what you want before settling into a marriage and having a family.

I think it's different for all people. I feel like as soon as you find the right person, why put it off any longer, whether you be 18 or 81?
