this is just a thought, but does anyone think that maybe the iraq war was unavoidable after going to afghanistan? if we wouldnt have attacked iraq at all, then considering the fact that iraq is relatively close to afghanistan compared to north korea or venezuela, and considering that fact that iraq's former leader is/was agaisnt america because of the gulf war (saddam could have been willing to harbor al-qaeda operatives), wouldnt al-qaeda operatives eventually "relocate" to iraq under the shelter of a supposedly secular country that has a problem with america? in this case wouldnt we eventually have to attack iraq *anyway*?
