who were the attornies murdered in sw fla approx 10 to 20 yrs ago -- male & female on trip together?

they found shot near port charlotte or punta gorda, but possibly as far north as bradenton, they were from Lee County/ Ft Myers area I think, they were in their 30s I think, they many have been "states" attornies? Havent heard if their murderer was ever caught or fried

The only incident close to this that I can remember was when Asst. State Atty. Eugene Berry was shot to death in Charlotte county by the wife of somebody whom he had convicted from trafficking marijuana by the tons. That was about 20 years ago.

The murderer was found guilty and sentenced to life with no possibility of parole for the next 25 years.
