What I mean is, since we have lost parts of our civil rights and propaganda about supposed terrorists attacks still lingers on the airwaves, did the terrorists accomplish their goals? After all, that is what they wanted to do was cause us to realize that we were vunerable and that we should be afraid of them. I think our biggest mistake on 9/12 was not allowing the US to continue with business as usual. The grounding of flights, cancelled baseball and football games, not to mention so many other events that were cancelled over the next 2 weeks. To me, that meant they had won. So, I think the war on terror ended on that day, and now we are on the long road to recovery which may takes decades. What are your thoughts?
