George Burns played the title role in "Oh, God" and co-starred with John Denver.
Burns was a very funny comedian who went all the way back to Vaudeville with his wife, Gracie Allen. They were mainstays of television in the early years.
Starting with "Oh, God," George Burns experienced a revival that lasted most of the rest of his life.
Very funny man, but with Gracie he was always the straight man.
