Grease
Highschool musical acting is rubbish, especially the lead girl. The blond girl is not too bad. The song is a bit catchy but doesn't have an impact. You'll enjoy it while listening to it but after the song, you won't even remember what it was. Story wise, it is terrible.
Grease on the other hand, the acting and the songs are very nice. Story wise, it's several miles better than high school musical. My young children enjoys Grease more than Highschool musical. I remember making my children sit to watch HSM but they left after the first song and I ended up watching it by myself. It was different with Grease, I was watching it on laser disc and my kids sat down with me and watched it and enjoyed it.

Okay, there is no decision here, it has to be Grease! Yeah, I know High School Musical is big right now, but Grease has been big for generations!

high school musical is cute and all...
but you can not compare that to grease!!!! grease is a movie classic!!!! grease is a movie that'll never go away or be forgotten, in a few years, people will be like "...high school what???..."
the actors in grease are better too!! there were was more comedy in it.
