I can play a vast array of instruments without ever having a lesson. Also I'm 243 lbs and I can do the splits.

No, in fact very few talents are natural. Most of us learn a talent through a love or fascination with a particular subject.
The scriptures say a man's talent makes room for him.
This basically means that your skills make you valuable to society and society works you into the system for the sake of your contribution to that society.

not everyone have a natural talent because not everyone have a properly functioning mind and/or body

I would assume so. As far as all those talents being unique I highly doubt it, but yeah.
