Instead of electing an intelligent, respectable, experienced president, we elect one with "likeability" who can "connect with the people". Doe connecting with the average person have to mean that they ARE an average person?
Personally, I'd rather a President that doesn't give a *bleep* about me, but still gets the job done.
Are we going to elect another average Joe in '08, or are we going to elect a GOOD president?
