when someone is slow to finish a job, people sometimes say that the person is as slow as molasses in january this could be true because...???

I like to ask your opinion.
do you wash the rice; the one that comes in bags; {not in a box} before preparing it? I have always washed it; but some people think this is not necessary. what do you think is the correct method?

I have both of my ears pierced. I am a 22 year old white male. I am a college graduate as well. I am thinking of buying some small diamond studs. However, I am not like most white guys who consider this because I am not a wanna be gangsta or trying to be black. I have an urban, clean, kinda preppy look. i went crabbing, so i had a lot of crabs, i gave a small cooked crab to my dog, then i realized that what if the dog couldnt digest the crab shell that he crushed and eaten, will it cut his intestine or rectum or anything bad? thanks

I don't have animals but we have a flea problem. They are eating me alive and my apartment is taking their time on fixin the problem. I am a mom with two young boys so I don't want to use harmful chemicals and I don't have the money for it either. I have heard that table salt kills them. Is this true and will it last for at least a week and a half? Thanks for your help!
