i went crabbing, so i had a lot of crabs, i gave a small cooked crab to my dog, then i realized that what if the dog couldnt digest the crab shell that he crushed and eaten, will it cut his intestine or rectum or anything bad? thanks

Did the dog eat it? I would phone the vet, it does seems dangerous. Dogs can't even eat chicken bones because they splinter, don't take any chances.

My dog eats small crabs on the beach often with no problems for him. He is about 50 lbs. The crabs he eats are raw. So I think it might depend on the size of the crab and the size of your dog.

i don't think giving ur dog crabs and any sea food for dat. they tend 2 have alergies and worms..its rily bad 4 dem..hope u won't give d dog any in d future..:)

More like is some digestive upset do to the crabmeat being too fatty.
