By homophobia (in this context) I mean actions that harrass, dehumanize, and threaten the lives and well-being of gay men and lesbians.

And if homophobia is a sin, is it good enough to simply ask Jesus for forgiveness, or should some amends be made to the people that have been harmed?

My best mate and I spent a considerable amount of time during our weekly pub sessions discussing how to make the best version of the best post pub snack, cheese on toast. We were amazed at how many variations we came up with for this simple snack (we were quite drunk by this point) but couldn't decide on the best... Is it cheddar, red leicester, edam or goats cheese? Do you use brown sauce, worcestershire sauce, or marmite? Does it go on top or underneath the cheese?

Well it's the 11ism hour, quite frankly when most people get their lazy butts out of bed to go to church.

I used to go to church in the past but I have many issues with various aspects of Christian theology. Most churches, even many of the liberal ones, have an underlining philosophy that Christianity is the only way and ones "salvation" is in question if there is not intellectual adherence to their belief system.

I have tried out other churches like the Universalist Church and the Quaker church but they either tend to be too open ended without enough form, or they have political underpinnings.
