when i met my guy, we met at work and he kept trying to say hello to me and make conversation, but i was so nervous that i kept acting like a nut and saying off the wall things, example, we'd bumping into eachother getting coffee and i'd look at him and say, i like coffee then curse myself as i walked back to mydesk, he kept thinking i was really uninterested, finally we got on the same page!

I met my boyfriend (don't know if he's exactly the man of my dreams though, but he's so almost there) in my first year of high school. We were friends then and I wasn't looking for a relationship. He liked me but never told me. He ended up going with some other girl who cheated on him all the time. They broke up when we were sophomores. He was depressed and I, as a good friend, did my best to cheer him up. He started telling me about his feelings for me and started coming on to me. He stole my first kiss and we started going out. When I first started dating him, I felt insecure because I thought he was using me to get his ex back. I found out that he hates his ex with a deep passion and I'm not insecure anymore. I did consider leaving him, but I because so attached to him. We've been together for over a year and we're still together. I love him so much and he loves me (in fact when he told me he loved me, I cried). We're both seniors now and we're not going to the same college, but we'll still be together hopefully.

I met him about 20 something yrs ago. And lost him about 18yrs ago. Oh well.. still looking. However, I don't think there is only one person out there that you can fall for. It's all about timing and where you are emotionally, financially, and mentally ready for, and where they are at. If you are both at the same place at the right time, and are attracted to one another.. then there is a chance.

I met John at Lily Flannigan's. I had just got back from London with my son and my friend Jenn asked me to come out and tell her all about the trip. I had never been there before, but I decided to go that night. I went there and we were hanging for a few minutes when she saw 2 guys that she knew.

'Beth, this is John and Joey. This is Beth.'

I looked at Jenn and said:

'He's cute'
'Yes he is' she said.

Well after a couple of drinks, flirting and dancing I got bold, turned around and kissed him. About 20 minutes later I got up for air, put my hand on his chest and said:

'What's my name?'

'I don't know, what's my name?'

'You are John and you're 30 years old'

LMAO!!!!

We're getting married on Friday, October 13th!!!!

I met my husband the same day i moved to Minnesota oddly enough. I was shopping at the grocery store with my cousin and he was shopping with his then wife. He fell for me right away (so he says). His marriage was ending anyway. Now his ex and I are very close. We email each other all the time.

problem with most men is: we don't realize we're talking to the woman of our dreams until we've accidentally hurt her and subsequently lost her. THEN.....when she's out of our life....we realize what we lost and hate ourselve for being stupid. (that's what happened to me)
