Hell is nowhere but here only. When you have a (selfless) good act and the feeling that arises within you is what heaven is and when you do something wrong and your conscious torments you and the mantle agony you suffers in, is hell. Some people confess their wrong doing (I am not talking about Christian's confession, it's the confession to you self) some don't but I am sure that your subconscious tells clearly about what you have done. And when you remorse with true heart than you automatically gets out of that hell. (When the remorse is true nobody can repeat the same mistake)

Hell is a state of being not an eternal place of residence. If you heart and mind change, as they can, even in the afterlife, you can grow closer to God, or fall away for that matter.

In short the answer is yes, but this holds true for heaven too. Some believe we are the fallen angels and are over a period of many lives working our way back to the heart of God.

This seems like a more functional spiritual ethos than many hard hearted doctrines that have been hanging on for way too long as a result of forceful historical influences.

Yes, there's a cheat code. Press Ctrl+Alt+6 three times in a row, then you have 30 seconds to run to the bottom level (use the "invisibility bomb" to hide from the pit fiends), find the Gem of Supreme Quality, then point the Suck Gun straight up and press Alt+Shift+5.

Good luck! If you make it out in under 3 minutes you get a "goodie".

There is an afterlife which accepts you just where you are fitted to be by your own growth and actions. Hell is a mind concept. When you release yourself from its grasp, you will be free. The afterlife also includes eternal progress...meaning we do not remain in any one spot forever. Eternally we learn and grow...as below, so above.

There is no hell. This was created by man to control people with fear. Think about it for a minute: Since God is our Father, could he really send his children to hell for making poor choices? No, no parent would do that. But would he make us come back and fix our sin and make it right? Yes, of course he would. That is why reincarnation works. It is common since. I mean really now, would you only want one chance to get everything correct? Not me.
Good Luck and God Bless

Going to hell means you die a second time - and there are no more resurrections after that. To "dukalink 6000" - there is no such thing as Purgatory in the Bible. Prove me wrong, if you can. Go well, and God Bless!

If a person can magically-think himself into the concept of hell, certainly he can rationally think himself out of the concept of hell.

Given the number of answers of people who believe in hell, there seems to be a meaness and inflexibility to their god that is very human in it's finality.

God is unforgiving and inflexible according to this mindset. Cruelty personified.

Yeah, if you don't bring attention to yourself. Slowly work your way over to the edge, look for a sign. It will say "EXIT". When no one is looking, get through the door and run! Just hope the door isn't alarmed. Good Luck.
