Many physics teachers in India are found to wear gems on their fingers in order to ward off evil. Many of them defend this practice by invoking pseudo-cosmological logic, viz., the absorption of particular wave-lengths of electro-magnetic waves by particular gems. Does not this constitute a travesty of basic physical laws - which physicists are supposed to teach in their classes and practise in their laboratories?

My friend, Kevin Barnhill, who was 27 years old was killed last week by 2-3 Mexicans in Mason, OH-- stabbed 11 times and beaten with a baseball bat. They are charging the Mexicans with Complicity to Commit Murder.... What exactly is generally the sentence for this? We want to make sure these people are locked up forever, and it doesn't sound like that's going to happen. Complicity?? The definition of complicity is involvement. How could they both only get involvement. Someone has to pay for his murder! They have all of the evidence saying they did it!

a retiring priest decided to take the young man that was going to replace him to meet a very old woman who was on her death bed. He explained to him she was very sick and that she was to be visited everyday until her passing. This made the young man nervous as he had never been in this situation. Upon arriving and speaking with her his nerves got the best of him. She had a bowl of nuts on the table that he preceded to eat on after the other thinking it would calm him. He then noticed he had ate them all and feeling sheepish offered to run to the corner store and purchase so more. The lady replied, oh sonny thats okay i just suck the chocolate off of them. eewww
