RE:
can anyone name two types of stored energy?

well i know potential engery is energy stored in a object...

one could be gas in a human... or creature; especially after lots of beans. lol

Potential energy can be found on a bicycle at the top of a hill, a match before it is lit, a stretched rubber band, explosive chemical compounds, or a coiled spring ready to be released. The bicycle has potential energy (PE), because once it starts rolling, it will build up speed. The bike at a height "h" has the potential energy PE = mgh, where "m" is its mass and "g" is the acceleration of gravity (32 ft/s²).

Thermal. From Rocks
Batteries. You already know that.
Ice. Yes really, think how it's made
Condensers. As in electric components
Dams. Tons of water waiting to fall
Fat. Candles etc
Oil, Catcrackered petrol
Carbohydrates. Potatoes Rape Beetroot etc

My tenacity? Nothing else to use it on.

Energy is the ability to do work, and it comes in several forms such as kinetic (moving) energy, potential (innate energy) and chemical (stored) energy. There are other forms of energy, but I think what you are looking for is chemical energy.
This is when energy is locked up in chemical bonds that when they are broken, release energy which is then available to do work such as breaking and reforming new bonds. The classic example of this is in biology - sunlight (specifically blue and red light) has sufficient energy to increase the potential energy of molecules within leaves which is then carried and utilised to break the chemical bonds of water and carbon dioxide - reforming them into sugar.

Potential, as in a mass suspended away from another (much larger) mass.

angular inertia, a mass spinning in place.

Chemical potential, like in a battery.

oops, that's three.

actually they are all the same thing.
