Our friends from church have invited us over to their house along with another couple we do not know and told us not to bring anything unless we felt the need to. We would usually bring someone a bottle of wine for the dinner, but they do not drink. Is there anything else that we should bring?

NOT TALKING ABOUT PUNISHMENT!By who? when should it be allowed? what about the "ticking-time-bomb" senerio? should the courts regulate it? is there a differecence between physical and psychological terror when torturing? is there such a thing as humaane torture?
For class assignment and I am running out of ideas... any thoughts on the subject would help greatly!

Hey everyone,
I have a '91 Explorer and I live in the USA, and all of a sudden my gas and temp gages quit. All other gages and lights and other electrical items are all working, just those two things are the only items that do not work I would love to know what to go looking for first to solve this problem.

I can't believe I paid to see that. Did anyone else think it was unbearable to watch? I understand the message behind it, and I appreciate it. But they marketed it as a horror movie, so I thought it would be scary, not laughable.

I was fired last week for a lame reason--the more I think about it the maore I want to apologize and make amends. I loved that job and perhaps got too comfortable and made a stupid mistake. Not major, but enough to piss off my office manager. I'm thinking things have calmed down enough we can talk it thru....I work for 7 dr.'s and I know at least 3 that are not happy I was let go.
