I think the asker knew the origin of the lyric.
I think she wants to know the MEANING of the lyric.
If you ever saw the music video, the woman in question is "on the street" a lot, (but also "around town" - but even prostitutes sometimes hang out IN clubs, etc)
Was billy ocean dreaming about a prostitute? Or was it that the woman of his dreams happened to spend a lot of time walking?
