I find this really gets my confidence down and I'm not underweight or unhealthy so I just want to know what my problem is.

And if so, what are the chances It will hit a waterpipe while you're in the shower and kill you? Just curious because I took a shower in a thunderstorm this morning...

I had an unusual experience this morning. When my 3 year old son got out bed of and we started to head downstairs, he asked me to hold his hand. He is at the age where he normally wants to do everything himself, and usually wants to walk down by himself. However this morning at the top of the steps he asked me to hold his hand. I asked him "Doesn't Daddy's big boy want to hold the railing?" (which is how he normally goes down the stairs). He asked me again to hold his hand, actually slipping his hand into mine as he did, and we started down the steps. The third step from the top he tripped and tumbled straight forward. He has never tripped or slipped on these steps before. If I had not been holding his hand, he would have tumbled all the way to the bottom of the steps.

My questions is: could he have sensed that he was going to trip, even at his young age; and wanted to hold my hand for security, or was it just a coincidence?

I've not done this before but I'm competent enough around PC hardware to know how to deal with the common problems that arise. However, if this will be doomed to failure I'd like to know before rolling up my sleeves.

I am a UK citizen who recently married a US citizen and we both live in Atlanta, Georgia. I have a work permit and a SSN and am in the process of having my status changed to permanent resident when I will receive my green card. I can't take my Georgia drivers licence test until I have my green card so I am driving on my UK licence, which I can do for 12 months from date of entry into the country. Yesterday, I went into a car dealership and asked to test drive a car. I was told that they couldn't let me do that as I didn't have a Georgia drivers licence and their insurers wouldn't allow it but they took me for a drive around the car park. They then told me that, even if I liked it, that they couldn't sell it to me because I don't have a Georgia drivers licence. They seemed concerned about me getting finance without a green card but I told them that I could pay cash. They still said that they couldn't sell me any car because my drivers licence was needed for them to register it. I told them that my husband could do that and they said that that would be a 'straw purchase' and because they knew that the car would really be for me, that it would be illegal and that they would refuse to sell it to me. I was amazed and I felt like a criminal. My question is: can a UK citizen buy a car in Georgia and get it legally registered with a UK drivers licence? I would greatly appreciate feedback on this as it seems incredible that I cannot buy a car here even though I am legal to drive for another 3-4 months.

Losing weight? I currently am dieting, and exercising as often as I can! I am just curious if there is a spell that could maybe give me more energy so I can work out longer, or maybe decrease my hunger? I'm not expecting anything dramatic, just looking for a little extra oomph! I wouuld really appreciate it! I'm open to most anything!

im a 17 yr old male, at most times i look ugly..real ugly...like im on crack with an evil look on my face that wont go away, if i go out like this on the streets people start sliding away scared, and cops be staring in there police cars, seeing if i did something wrong

BUT!...when i take a good 30 min shower..my hairs all shiny, my eyelids close in nicely and appealing that it is my face is just perfect and i look really really handsome

What would be the effect if we were able to transfer enough materials from Earth to another planet, like the Moon, to support a great number of people? As well as increased population.

What would be the effect if we transferred metals, concrete, etc. from earth to the Moon?

Would that transfer of material and people affect Earth and have an opposite effect on the
Moon, or any other planet?

Would the addition or substraction of weight affect the gravity of either?
