Just so people don’t go wasting their time going out to look for something that aint going to be there:

The Mars close approach thing going round is a hangover from August 27 2003, when the closest approach actually happened. The misinformation going round is due to old articles hanging around on cyberspace that have been found but not studied well by kids surfing.

One particular is still there – do a Google search on MARS CLOSE APPROACH. It brings up at the top of the list an article put out by the BBC three years ago. The trouble is, it does not show the date in the title information, and even when you go to the page it is easy to miss the small-font date at the top of the page.

Kids have found this and in their hurried read of it have assumed it is talking about Aug 27 this year, and spread from friend ot friend to friend. One of the last queries we had on this was from Peurto Rico for heavens sake.

I mean does it touch the ground and thus is absorbed,.. or all that energy turn into light and it happens away,... an example would be I guess if I were to rephrase this with sound, I would ask about why the sound weakens in an echo, where does all that sound go,.......Say in a sealed shut room with no opening why isn"t it that we cant hear an echo repeat and repeat and repeat and so on for ever if it is in a sealed shut room with no openings?

I have been crushing on him since I started working there. It's only a teenage job so it's nothing big. He's older than I am by a year. I asked him if he wanted to do something first, and he agreed. Since then, he's asked me almost every day for the last week if I want to hang out, and half the time he's waiting in his car when I get out of work. At first it was cute, but now..

Also, he is really jealous of me being around or talking about other guys. Sometimes it's cute, like if I say the singer of a band is really attractive, he'll say something like, "Well, he wishes he could have you." But then he starts asking bizarre questions about my guy friends, who he's never met, and says he hates them.

His last two relationships screwed him up a lot. But he's weirding me out, and he's constantly getting texts from his ex girlfriend, asking to see him - and she actually threatened me once.

How do I brush him off without messing up our work relationship, or him hating me?

i have a staffordshire bull terrier what would b the best chew toy for her (she loves to chew just not rawhides... go figure rite?) need something that she can chew for longer then 2 hours (which is how long most last her)?

I have a electric smoker with electric heat element at the bottom. A bowl above the element that you fill with water, pinnapple juice, orange juice etc to help flavor. The cooking temperature is 195 to 200 degrees f. I cooked 2 racks of baby back pork ribs for 5 hours. They tasted great but was not as tender as I thought they should be.
I have eaten ribs cooked by some of my friends that would fall apart without pre-boiling.
I was wondering if cooking them longer would have made them more tender? The ribs were not dried out, just not as tender as I would have liked.
Anyone have any ideas or solutions they would like to pass on for making them more tender?

My husband and I been together 5 years. We love each other very much.We share a mutual respect. We get along very well. I cant find it in the constitution or any amendment i've read. The only place I can find it is a letter from T. Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists, they were complaining that the poloticians were repressing their freedoms of religion. He suggested a separration of Church and state to protect the Chruch from the government.

That is it. As far as I can tell no law was written.

So Why do americains all refer to it if it doesn't exist?

so i have a bf right now and we've been going out for a little over a month. and we were friends before, and family friends too. but now, like nothing has happened yet (like holding hands, kissing, etc) but when i think about us doing that, i cannot. its so awkward because we've been such close friends for so long. and now, im not sure if i should talk to him about it and let him know how i feel about the relationship. but he's been starting to say 'i love you' but im not saying it back to him. because im not even sure if i like him as a significant other anymore. it's relaly sad, but i dont want to keep the relationship going and making him falling deeper in love with me when i dont anymore. please help!

What was it like? How was recovery? How long to heal? Etc.
I have to have all 4 done next week. Plus one of them is so impacted and coming in all crooked it has actually caused one of my molars to become abscessed. WORST PAIN EVER. I am on antibiotics and pain killers. So yes, I am having a grand total of 5 teeth out - more than my son has in his mouth! I have always been religious about my dental hygeine because I hate going to the dentist. I am worrying myself into a frenzy over it.
